Child & Adolescent Services
PsychBC provides a wide array of clinical services for children, adolescents and their families. Our diverse and experienced staff includes child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors and social workers. Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation of your child’s needs, strengths and family background. Treatment goals that are specific and measurable are then developed in collaboration with the child and family.
Common issues that are treated in our practice include: Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), disruptive behavior problems, anxiety disorders, depression, suicidality and self-injurious behaviors, social skills, Autism spectrum disorders, grief and loss, divorce, learning disabilities/school issues, family discord and medication treatment when appropriate.
