Kristin Hilfer PsyD
Dr. Kristin Hilfer is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults. She received her Doctor of Psychology degree from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. She also received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ. She completed a concentration in her doctoral program in marriage and family counseling. She conceptualizes cases from a cognitive behavioral, psychoanalytic, and family systems perspective. She completed her postdoctoral work in a private practice in Warren, Ohio. Her predoctoral internship was at the Renfrew Center of Philadelphia specializing in residential eating disorder treatment. She more recently has worked with the geriatric population working in nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. Dr. Hilfer specializes in treating issues such as: depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, body image issues, marital or relationship difficulties, substance abuse issues, and family conflicts. Dr Hilfer provides individual psychotherapy to ages 12 and up.
