Sean McCreary APRN, CNP
Sean McCreary is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse, who specializes in family medicine and sees children, adolescents, and adults. He received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing from the Ohio State University. He has over five years of experience in the field of psychiatry and mental health in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He enjoys working with special populations that include individuals with autism, developmental delays and intellectual disabilities. He also has experience with adjustment disorder, anxiety disorders, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavioral/oppositional disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. His scope of practice includes assessments, diagnostics and medication management. He prioritizes health promotion and providing patient education and psychotherapy with all his clients. He believes in having his clients take an active role in their own treatment, which can improve the overall success of treatment and the long-term stability of symptoms.
