Ryan Ware LISW
Ryan Ware is a License Independent Social Worker who earned both his bachelor’s degree in Criminology and his master’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. He previously worked for more than four years in an outpatient setting treating mental health and substance use disorders mostly with individuals and couples working at a community mental health non-profit agency. He is trained in evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. He provides counseling services to individual teenagers, adults, elderly clients, couples, and their families. He specializes in clients dealing with depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment disorder, and substance use disorders. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI). He believes in the importance of being strengths-based and solution-focused, supporting clients as they achieve their mental health treatment goals and experience personal growth so that they can succeed in their life.
