Rhonda Palmer DNP, APRN-BC
Rhonda Palmer is a board certified child and adolescent mental health provider who began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse serving both the geriatric population and children with terminal illnesses. She then received her Registered Nurse degree while home on furlough from mission work in West Africa. As healthcare advanced worldwide, she began to work toward her Bachelor’s and then Master’s degree in Nursing from Indiana University in 2010. Her goal to provide holistic, integrated advanced care led her to Indiana Wesleyan University. She was awarded the Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree (DNP) from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2017 while being given the opportunity to travel to China and lecture on tuberculosis and mental health. She has served as a nurse in Africa, taught nursing at the graduate and under graduate level, worked in the hospitals as an inpatient and residential psychiatry provider, as an outpatient child and adolescent and adult mental health provider as well as a clinical instructor for graduate level Nurse Practitioners. She currently serves children and adolescents in the Fishers, Indiana office providing mental health consults and medication assistance.
