Peter Golden, Jr. MD
Dr. Golden is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University, completed his psychiatry residency at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, and served his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital. He earned his bachelor's degree from The College of Staten Island and also completed a Judaic Studies Program at Yeshiva Neveh Zion in Israel. Positions held include staff child psychiatrist at Windsor-Laurelwood Hospital, Beech Brook Outpatient Clinic, and Child Guidance and Family Solutions. He also served as staff psychiatrist for crisis stabilization units and emergency rooms in the Akron and Youngstown areas. Dr. Golden is an instructor of psychiatry for Northeast Ohio Medical University and a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Association of Community Psychiatrists. His specialty areas include Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder and psychotic disorders. He sees children, adolescents and adults up to age 40.
