Michael Spitz has over 20 years of experience and received his master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University and his bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from New York University. He provides therapy for children and teens who have experienced abuse, neglect, and DV and adults suffering from a variety of mental health issues. He has worked in Residential Treatment Centers for teens on probation, in the public schools, and in outpatient settings. His specialties include adjustment disorder, anger management, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, family therapy, grief counseling, relaxation techniques and stress management.
