Mercedes Bryjak LPCC, IMFT
Mercedes Bryjak received her bachelor’s degree in language arts and psychology from Cleveland State University and her master’s degree in counseling and marriage and family therapy from University of Akron. She specializes in utilizing a systemic approach in conceptualization and treatment of complex needs of individuals, couples and families. She is proficient in implementation of various treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with focus on trauma, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and couple and family therapy modalities. She specializes in treatment of trauma and co-occurring disorders. Her experience is grounded in extensive relational work with children, adolescents and adults in both in-home and outpatient setting.
