Melissa Misencik MSSA, LISW-S, OSW-C
Melissa Misencik works with adults and families, specializing in adjustment to illness, caregiving issues and both grief and anticipatory grief counseling. Prior to joining PsychBC, she spent more than 10 years at University Hospitals of Cleveland in the critical and intensive care units and at the Seidman Cancer Center. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Akron and her master's degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University, where she also received a graduate certificate in gerontology. She is a member of the Association of Oncology Social Work and holds oncology social work certification.
