Megan Orr PsyD, HSPP
Dr. Orr is a licensed psychologist and health service provider in the state of Indiana. She completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Bloomington with degrees in psychology and criminal justice. She earned her master’s and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2010. Her clinical experience includes work within a variety of settings including schools, medical centers, long-term care facilities and private practice. She has presented at the Indiana Psychological Association Conference on evidence-based treatments for somatic symptom related disorders. She provides consultation and performs renal transplant evaluations for a local hospital. She employs the use of various treatment modalities with a focus on evidence-based treatments. Her approach to psychotherapy draws heavily from her training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She has specialized interest in working with adolescents, adults and elderly individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, along with adjustment issues, grief and loss, trauma/Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and individuals living with acute and chronic health conditions.
