Marie-Claire Day LPCC
Marie-Claire Day earned her master’s degree and education specialty degree in counseling psychology from the University of Kentucky. She has experience working in community mental health services providing crisis intervention and counseling to children, adolescents and adults. She also provided in-home and community-based services with at-risk youth and provided treatment for those who have experienced trauma at a child advocacy center. She has a specialized interest in working with borderline personality disorder, those engaging in self-harming behaviors, eating disorders and victims of bullying, sexual trauma and domestic violence by utilizing training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
