Lori Baker LISW-S
Lori Baker, LISW, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who received her master’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. She has previously worked in community mental health where she specialized in providing home-based therapy and intensive therapy to children in therapeutic foster care. From 1999-2002, Lori was a part-time Social Work instructor at Ohio University on regional campuses. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Lori has been in private practice since 1996 and provides cognitive-behavioral and family therapy work with children, adolescents, adults, and their families.
Lori provides counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and their families through cognitive behavioral therapy. She specializes in clients dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, grief and adoption issues, and physical and sexual abuse. She believes that involving families in their children’s treatment is the best way to impact lasting and positive change. Lori feels privileged to support clients as they navigate their ways to positive growth and healing.
