Lindsey Slivka LISW-S
Lindsey Slivka is a licensed independent social worker who earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Akron and her bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Kent State University. She has experience working with children, adolescents and parents in both partial hospitalization and school-based settings to address a variety of mental health and behavioral health concerns. She also has worked with individuals of all ages in hospital settings to assess mental health needs and develop safety plans. Her specialties include working with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
