Jennifer Thornton LCSW
Jennifer Thornton received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Mount St. Joseph. She has received advanced training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) and is a member of the Kentucky Domestic Violence Association. She has over 15 years of experience working with children over age 3, adolescents and adults. Her areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, severe mental illness, grief, anger management, abuse and trauma, spirituality, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), parenting and family issues, marriage counseling and divorce. She provides individual, couples and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults ages 0 to 65+.
