Jeffrey Berman LISW-S
Jeffrey Berman received his master’s degree in social work from Tulane University and his bachelor’s degree in English at State University of New York and Oswego. He has previously worked in community-based mental health as well as in private practice. Prior to counseling, he held a master’s of education degree and worked in schools with students with disabilities. He currently provides individual, couples and family therapy to adolescents and adults ages 12 to 65+. His areas of specialty include anger management, social skills, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities/ school issues and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He is trained in trauma informed care, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), aggression replacement training and cognitive-behavior interventions for substance abuse.
