Gregory A. Peterson MD
Dr. Peterson completed his internship in internal medicine and psychiatry at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in behavioral medicine and psychiatry at the University of Virginia, where he served as chief resident, and also has added training in forensic psychiatry. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Peterson is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He was previously the clinical director at Community Support Services in Akron, Ohio. He has held academic appointments at both the University of Virginia and Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine. Dr. Peterson has more than 25 years of experience in treating patients with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dementia, chemical dependency and schizophrenia.
