Eric Layne MD
Dr. Layne is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has more than 15 years of experience in psychiatry. He earned his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He has experience practicing inpatient, outpatient and consult-liaison psychiatry as well as training in and the performing of electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation. He was awarded mental health practitioner of the year for Licking County in 2012 and has published in the Journal of ECT. Dr. Layne provides medication management and brief psychotherapy for a wide range of symptoms and disorders and has particular interest in anxiety disorders, psychopharmacology and pharmacogenetics, and the comprehensive treatment of the physical, psychological and social issues that combine to cause and perpetuate mood symptoms and dysfunction.
