Ellen Pietz LISW
Ellen Pietz earned her master's degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University, her bachelor’s degree from Hope College, and her RN from the Beth Israel Hospital School of Nursing. She also completed post-graduate training at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and continuing education courses on a variety of subjects including concerns related to aging, abuse, anxiety, coping with grief and loss, and mood and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In private practice since 1984, she also has developed and presented mental health inservice programs and workshops for consumers and educators, and serves as a consultant to area clergy, teachers, counselors, therapists and graduate students. Her primary practice focus is treatment for marital issues, mood and anxiety disorders, survivors of abuse, job-related stress, chronic illness, LGBTQI issues, and issues concerning emancipating adults, women, families and the aging process.
