Diane Smith DSW, LISW-S, LICDC
Diane Smith has more than 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in the clinical treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. She has advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and interpersonal psychotherapy. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Youngstown State University and is currently working on her doctoral degree. Her treatment specialty areas include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, discrimination/social justice issues, and assisting clients experiencing legal difficulties. She is a member of the National Association of Social Work and the National Organization of Forensic Social Work.
