Ann Faber LISW-S
Ann Faber has more than 30 years of experience working with adolescents, adults and families. In private practice for more than a dozen years, she spent 20 years in the psychiatric emergency department at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she helped develop the mobile crisis team as well as a training program for all police departments in Hamilton County for management of mental health issues. She also worked in the mood disorders clinic at UCMC providing individual and family therapy and on the post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) unit at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. She holds advanced training certificates from the Family Therapy Center and the Southern Ohio Family Institute, a master’s degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico. Her specialty areas include family and group therapy, trauma and loss, substance use disorders, and coping with chronic illness as an individual and the impact on the family system.
