Amelia Baffa RN, MSN
Amelia Baffa has been a nurse for more than 30 years, working in hematology-oncology inpatient, surgical intensive care and trauma, medical-surgical, staff development, pediatric care coordination and patient blood management. She has held several nursing management positions, presented internationally and chaired multiple conference committees. She received the University Hospitals of Cleveland Trustee Award for Nursing Excellence and the Red Cross Community Hero Award and was awarded a scholarship from Teen Cancer America to become one of the first nurses in the United States to attend the Coventry University (UK) post-graduate certification program for teenage and young adult cancer treatment. She is pursuing a post-graduate degree as a family mental health psychiatric nurse practitioner at the University of Akron. She serves as an educator/facilitator in the PsychBC Intensive Outpatient Program.
