Erica Allen specializes in clinical treatment for adolescent mental health issues, particularly those of adolescent females, and parenting issues. At her previous position with a community mental health center, she created and led a social skills and self-esteem group for adolescent girls ages 11 to 14, also launching a Parent Stress Management Program. She also has extensive experience working with young children and providing family therapy. Additional specialty areas include Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), adjustment disorders, anxiety and depression. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Miami University and a master's degree in marriage and family counseling from the University of Akron, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA. A licensed professional clinical counselor, she is a clinical fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
