Desiree James LISW
Desiree James earned her master's degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University and her undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University. Her previous experience includes social work/counselor positions at the Cleveland Clinic Health System, University Hospitals of Cleveland, the Center for Families and Children and several Northeast Ohio community agencies. She is a lecturer at Cleveland State University and a military and family life consultant for MHN. She also is a trained Critical Incident Stress Debriefing provider, working with first responders such as police, fire and emergency medical staff. She sees clients ages 16 and older, specializing in addiction, mood and schizophrenic disorders, health adjustment, women's issues and military/family life issues.
